We went to Previous Paws for an urgent matter. Even though we were not established "patients," everyone was kind to me and to my dog. The vet was thorough and explained everything clearly. Would recommend highly!

I am so angry about how my dog was treated during her routine visit. This is also not the first issue we've had with the vets. It is a hit or miss whether you'll get a good visit with a positive vet or a bad visit with a sparky, rude vet. Dr. Lovins asked me if I routinely deny my dog food when she is ill. Obviously my 80 lb dog is not routinely denied food and what a terrible thing to say to someone worried about her dog. If I was going to dent my dog food I certainly would not be there paying for a $600 emergency visit with x-rays 🙄. The other doctor spent my dogs well visit hell bent on making her as uncomfortable as possible. The man didnt speak to her, pet her, make her comfortable at all before he started poking and prodding her. He stuck his whole finger in her ear and basically berated me for asking simple questions. I am a concerned dog owner and want to make sure I am taking the best care of my dogs. Apologies if my questions are beneath you. He then forced a temperature on her, twice, when she made it clear she did not want that. After she attempted to bite him because he was freaking rude, he was so angry with her and jabbed her with only 2 of her necessary vaccines. He said she cannot come back in without being sedated and refused the rest of her visit. Maybe, in the future, you can spend a little bit more time helping the animal feel comfortable before sticking your fingers in their body and taking a temperature. $238 later, not even a whole visit and not including all of her vaccines. What was I even charged for?

Google needs to add a ZERO stars button for this practice. Where do I start? Dog fractured her leg, took her in they wrapped the leg & sent me home with drugs. Soft cast fell off on day 2. Took her back, they rewrapped her, charged me for it and sent us home. Got all the way home, picked her up to carry her inside, cast fell off again. Back to the clinic, they rewrapped her and charged me again. Three casts, charged three times. Today, went to my 3 o'clock appt., at 3:05 I asked if I could run next door to drop off a sample at the lab as the lab closed at 4 and if I didn't drop off the sample, I'd have to repeat the test as the sample wouldn't survive until the next day. Staff went into a frenzy of prep to accommodate me. At 3:25, they sent the tech out with an "ESTIMATE" and two choices, PAY the clinic a hospitalization intake fee because I was walking off-site or if I left with my pet, charge me for a missed appointment. Seriously ... Needless to say, I chose neither, told them I'd be taking my business elsewhere and made it to the lab at 3:56. My mistake returning to this clinic after the first cast slipped off! What a horrible practice! FIND ANOTHER CLINIC PEOPLE!!! Now I'm stuck with a dog in a cast with few options. A pox on these jerks!!!
